You can also browse through a wide variety of beautiful Barbadian pottery for sale in the gift shop. What a great souvenir! Next door you'll find the Barbados Batik Studio where you will find great local gifts to take back for your friends.

Then it's off to the Pelican Craft Village where you will find Barbados art & craft at its best!!  Here you will also get tours of the Barbados based Caribbean Cigar Company where you will learn how to roll the perfect cigar during your tours!

Barbados' true claim to fame, the world's oldest rum, then awaits you at the Mount Gay Distilleries! The tour begins with an informative audiovisual presentation in the air-conditioned 'rum shop' theatre, after which you walk through the aging cellars where barrels of rum are kept and wonderful scents fill the air. Sample sensational rum throughout the tour and order a famous rum cocktail to accompany a delicious bajan buffet! At the Visitor Centre you then have the chance to purchase that bottle of the world's best rum.  Take some of Barbados home with you!!
